My spouse of 12 years passed away of a heart attack on his birthday while driving home from work. He was 57. He was my best friend, my partner, my love and the one that I knew always had my back. That was 3 1/2 years ago. Rick had beautiful brown eyes and I am so thankful that out of this unforeseen tragedy came the opportunity to help someone with their vision. I cry writing this but am so thankful that there is this little part of him that lives on and is making someone’s life better.
